No strangers to the local entertainment scene, talented musicians Geoff Gibbons and Quince Collins form one of the most exciting bands in Newfoundland, known as The Relics. This dynamic duo combines acoustic guitar, mandolin, and vocals to create a unique fusion of sound. They offer an extensive and diverse repertoire of much-loved tunes, ranging from classic rock to traditional and folk, and everything in between. With their engaging and energetic style, you’ll never see the same show from The Relics band twice.

Geoff has been performing professionally since 2001. His journey began with A Plate of Thirties and Twenty-six Fingers, and he has since become a notable figure among bands in Newfoundland. Geoff's unique rhythm guitar and vocals have graced other local groups such as Hard Drive, G 'n R, Brendan's Folly, and Evenkeel. Additionally, he has performed countless solo acoustic shows. Influenced by classic rock and folk, Geoff draws inspiration from artists like The Who, Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, Jim Croce, and Harry Chapin, as well as his own band, The Relics Band.

Quince started his musical career in 1991 playing with the Collins Family. Since then, he has contributed his vocals, guitar, and signature mandolin sound to various bands in Newfoundland, including Final Exit, Dublin Trio, The Maritimers (while living in Toronto), Evenkeel, Eastern Gate, and Sunny Ridge, before finding his current musical home with The Relics band.
Quince’s music is influenced by Celtic, country, bluegrass, and classic rock, in addition to well-known local Newfoundland bands such as The Irish Descendants, Masterless Men, Sons of Erin, and Great Big Sea.
We had a fantastic live performance at the festival in September of 2021, showcasing some of the best bands in Newfoundland. We are excited to announce that the Relics band will be there again this year. Hope to see you!
